Roddenberry Wedding : Murfreesboro,TN Wedding Photographer

Like for real... This wedding could not have been more beautiful. Just a little tad of information is that this wedding was pulled together in a matter of 6 weeks. 6 WEEKS, people!! Down to every last detail, it was perfect. Randa and Tyler and so laid back and didn't really have tons of requests, so Randa's mom, Priscila, and sister, Kayla, took the ball and ran with it. They did an amazing job and I'm so excited to share some of the details!

I will add that Randa is my beautiful first cousin and I am so glad it worked out for me to be able to capture her special day. Our family jokes that we could start a wedding business, because our cousin Brandon is a DJ. I'm the photographer. My sister, sister-in- law, and myself did the flowers. My Dad always does a phenomenal job with the food and not to mention he built the beautiful arbor that you'll see in the ceremony shots. And of course Randa's sister, Kayla, is the planner!  Like really, if we all lived in the same town we could totally have a legit wedding team :)

Those of you who don't know the relationship that Randa and her Dad, Randy, have may not understand the significance of these pictures. They are best friends and business partners. Cows are their passion and the relationship they have is so unique!

Do you see the beautiful arbor... yea, that was my Pops ;)
Just FYI.. I hate the flash. If I could do every picture ever without it, I totally would. I'm so glad I didn't panic and pull it out for these shots, because I love the romantic feel of the lights and shadows that I got.

Alex and Morgan : Murfreesboro Maternity Photographer

Alex and Morgan were just as sweet as they could be and are so excited to welcome their sweet baby boy into the world! We were able to capture some tender moments in an upstairs bedroom where the lighting was just dreamy. As Morgan said... We felt famous. haha! We had the music going, Alex's wonderful aunt helping to get Morgan fixed up and a great make up artist who makes my life so much easier! Once we were done with all of that amazingness, we made our way outside and had some fun on the lawn behind Murfreesboro Medical Center (which is beautiful by the way!) I hope you enjoy and go ahead and comment away at how stunning Morgan looks! I know she'll appreciate the love :)

Morgan and Michael : North Florida Engagement Session

I was beyond excited when Morgan asked me to take her engagement portraits. She knew I was moving to the Nashville area and still made sure  to make time for us to be able to make it work.

While I was home for Thanksgiving we met on a wet and soggy Sunday morning before church to make it happen. When I say soggy, I mean we had to dodge the puddles to get to the highest part of my families hay farm. Michael and Morgan were such good sports about the whole thing and I'm so glad we were able to work around the rain and our busy schedules.

Here are just a few of the images of these two lovebirds. I can't wait to see them say I do next November!!

Mackenzie : 1 Year old

This little beauty was an absolute doll! Her sweet parents came to my parents vacation spot this summer and we got some great shots on the dock out to the lake. The sunset was beautiful and gave off such a beautiful hue in the clouds. We couldn't have asked for better conditions to get some of my favorite shots to date!

Nashville here we come!!

I have so, so much blogging to catch up on. In the first 3 years of my business I was so slow during the beginning of the year, as well as during the summer. Not. This. Year. I am so incredibly grateful for all of the work that I have had this year and it seems to only be getting busier!!

Fortunately and unfortunately I will be moving my business to Nashville, TN this fall. My husband took a job there and we are sad and excited for this next chapter in our lives. We hate to leave family and a home town that we know and love, but we know that God has good things for us in Nashville. Though I'm sad to leaving for personal reasons I am SO excited about getting to explore and photograph in a new city. Being a native Florida girl, if you get me in rolling hills I'm excited. HAHA! I may miss the leaves changing this year, but I am can't wait to do fall portraits with the colors of Fall. Don't get me wrong, I love the beach and Florida's flat lands, but it will be fun to do something different!

In preparation of our move I have HAD to get my website up and running. I have primarily depended on local fans and word of mouth for the past three years being in my hometown, but Nashville will be a whole new ball game. Thankfully we have connections and friends already there, but I am so nervous about starting all over! I hope that if you're reading this and are in Music City you will take a look at my website and current blog posts and consider booking me for your next shoot! Get ready for some blog overload, because I have about 6 months worth of posts to catch up on ;)

Gabe 2.75 yrs. an imperfect perfect picture

This is very possibly one of my all time favorite shots. On top of the natural light that I LOVE, Gabe's messy hair, his worn pj's and his monster truck... it's perfectly him. Not much more to say about it other than that. This will be blown up, possibly a gallery wrap. It's timeless and imperfectly perfect. This way when I'm ready to pull my hair out on the days that he's driving me bonkers I can glance at this picture and remember the sweet innocence of my tot. Love. This. Boy!
